Healthy Eating for Diabetes Reviews
This book should be called "Diabetes for the Pretentious Palate." Most recipes were fancy-pants things that I really don't think normal people eat. And some of them leave a bit to be desired, with no substance to them at all. For example, the tomato soup recipe at the beginning is called "slimming" and boasts "Presentation is everything in this recipe!" That would be because it's a chiffonade of basil and some cut up tomato floating in a bottle of Evian water...presentation HAS to be everything because there's nothing else for the recipe to lean on. Sadly, a lot of the recipes in this book are that way. Skip this one.
